Thank you for your interest in adopting from Collie Rescue of Metro Atlanta, Inc.
We are a licensed state animal shelter with the Department of Agriculture and
a nonprofit incorporation registered with the Secretary of State.

Please note that if you are calling long distance and need Collie Rescue to return your phone call, please give us permission to call collect. Our resources are limited and are needed for the collies. Thank you.

Our adoption requirements include the following:
1) A safe, secure fence for the protection and security of the rescue collie.
2) There is a $125 adoption fee to defray our vet costs. Every collie leaving
Collie Rescue to an approved home has been fully vetted. This includes ALL
shots, HW and fecal check (on HW preventative) and spay or neuter.
3) An adoption agreement contract* is signed outlining basic care and
conditions that must be maintained for the rescue collie.
4) All transportation and costs incurred thereof, are the responsibility of
the adopting family.

In addition, if this is not a local adoption, i.e., out of town or out of
state, and Collie Rescue cannot come and screen personally, a picture of your
fenced yard and a written vet reference must be provided. It is also the responsibility of the adopter to arrange/provide transportation for the dog.
